Monitoring versus remote changes
The Standard iOS and Android app provides status, sales information, available compartments and notifications. ADVANCE additionally supports price changes, compartment-state changes, collection codes and bouquet photos. Decide whether you need information or also need to change the machine's operation without visiting it. These are different requirements and should be listed separately in the configuration you request
Who acts on a notification
A sales notification does not refill the display, and a fault alert does not resolve the fault. Assign an owner and a response sequence: check status, contact the site or submit a service request. Organise multi-user access so responsibility for prices and restocking is clear. Avoid a situation where everyone sees an alert but assumes someone else is handling it
Connectivity and configuration differences
Remote functions need connectivity, so assess its availability at the site. GUARD CONNECT is a separate monitoring function, and SMS notifications are another option with more limited capabilities. NEO does not offer app management. Specify the app version and the particular actions you want to perform remotely rather than using remote management as a single catch-all requirement
