Three things to start with
- Check access dimensions
- Prepare a firm base
- Agree the connection
Site plan before delivery
Prepare a plan showing machine dimensions, customer access and servicing space. Mark doors, steps, columns and other constraints. Installers need to understand the route from unloading to the final position, not just the destination. Photograph narrow passages, the surface and height restrictions so access problems can be addressed before the vehicle arrives
Who prepares connections and the base
Agree responsibility for the base, anchoring, power and connectivity before setting the delivery date. Mention paving in the inquiry because it requires different work from a prepared foundation. Use the selected model's requirements, not assumptions drawn from a similar-looking machine. Confirm that the people responsible for preparation and installation are working from the same plan
Handover and first loading
During handover, test a purchase, door opening and the agreed controls. Staff should know how to load bouquets, update information and request help. Record the serial number and support contacts and retain the supplied instructions. Plan the first stocking after training so opening the new sales channel does not also become an unprepared attempt to learn the machine
